Truly Naughty. Yes, I am!!

Drum roll, please!!!!!!

On Saturday afternoon I finished the 4th book in the "Memoir Series" (Truly Naughty), and emailed it to Alex along with the book info and my panty pic choice for the cover of this smokin hot book.  Now Alex can do her design magick, and this HAWT, 177-page memoir should be published in November or December by Kittyfeather Press.

WOOT!  Time to celebrate.  And I've got lots of reasons.

First, this is my last book deadline for 2011, so I can have a life now (more about that later).

Second, this memoir is not only full of sex (Dear Goddess, it's HOT!!), but it also covers that period when everything crashed for me with the exagent.  It starts on February 1, 2010, and ends on October 14, 2011.  Sooooooo much changed for me in my career and love life during that time.

What a mess!  I had to work just about every day of that 20-month period to fix it.  After almost two years of this grueling schedule I have no idea what day it is anymore.  Yikes!

So it's not only a hot and hysterically funny read, but it's also a victorious book.  By the end of this memoir the SexWitch rises from the ashes on her Fey wings to rebuild her life and career better than ever.

Can you say "V" for Victory?  Yay!!

The pic I chose for the cover is the panty shot that illustrates this blog post.  What do you think of it?  I chose it because this pic got a good response on Facebook.  Plus, we all know how much I adore my leopard print panties.

BTW, this pair matches two of my bras (love the lime green lace!).  Okay, I wear a bra when I absolutely HAVE to.  Otherwise my breasts go commando.  What can I say?  It makes my naughty nipples happy.  ~wicked wink~

Third (yes, I'm still counting, but you know how easily distracted I am), this book means I'm back on my regular publishing schedule again.  Alrightyyyy!  Before the exagent disaster I made sure my publishers published at least two books of mine every year, so my fans wouldn't have to go too long without a new read from me.  One always came out in the spring, and another in the fall.

But the exagent blew that schedule all to hell.  Because of him, I went 16 months without a new book being published.  HORRORS!   Then when I dropped him, Kittyfeather Press published 14 books of mine in 13 months.  That's how many books of mine had been waiting, waiting, waiting to be published in ebook.

Whew!

This year "A Vampire's Kiss" came out in the spring.  And now "Truly Naughty" will come out in the fall.  I'm back on schedule.  BTW, for those of you waiting for the next vamp novel, "A Vampire's Desire" will come out in the spring of 2012.

What do I love about this publishing schedule?  That's easy.  It gives me a life!  And I really need that.  So I'm gonna take the rest of this month and all of November off.  I'll still be at Twitter and Pagan-Place every day.  I'll still post once a week on this blog.  But I'm not gonna work on my books.

I need to take the time to remember what it's like to have a life.  I mean, I haven't read any books for fun.  I've only read business books.  I haven't watched TV or seen a movie since 2010.  Pitiful!  So I'm gonna take the time to do that.  I'm also gonna take a few day trips and overnight trips and visit friends.  And I'm gonna get offline every night at midnight, so I can catch up on my sleep, since I'm totally sleep-deprived at this point.

Those are my plans.  Let's see if this vampy chick can actually do it.  ~lol~

Seriously though, I'm gonna give it a helluva try.  I've been talking with one of my Protectors, and I don't like how "busy" my life has become.  I'm a Taoist Fey chick, and I need open spaces in my day.  Ya know, time to breathe and do nothing.  I've gotta simplify my life.  Ever since I signed with my exagent in 2009 I've been rushing all day and all night and always behind.  Not fun.

In other news, my social site (Pagan-Place) is rocking!!!  If you're Pagan or Pagan-friendly come over and join in the fun.  Here's my page to friend me: http://www.pagan-place.com/profile/LauraStamps

As for my love life....swoon....things are better than ever with my hunky Fey mate.  I just told one of my Twitter buds he's everything I need: oversexed, damn good in bed, sweet, kind, affectionate, romantic, poetic, and all heart.  Sunday morning I came back from the spirit realms exhausted from so many Os and sexual positions.  I could barely move.  Okay, he likes to surprise me, and we're both verrrrrrrry athletic.

Yeah, this SexWitch is definitely in LOVE.  ~more swooning~

Samhain is coming up next week (Monday).  Pagans celebrate eight Sabbats (holidays) in the wheel of our year.  The two biggies are Samhain (Halloween) and Beltane (May Day).

However, we consider Samhain to be the most important Sabbat of the year.  Samhain is the Celtic-Gaelic word that means "summer's end," when the final harvest of the year is gathered.  For Pagans the New Year begins on November 1 (rather than January 1).

Samhain is a celebration Sabbat.  And this SexWitch definitely has a HUGE harvest to celebrate this year: I got my life back!!!

Speaking of Samhain and Halloween, I'm one of the featured authors at "The Feast of Screams" bash at the Paper Cut Reviews blog this week.  You can read my guest blog post about Samhain, as well as the first chapter of "A Vampire's Kiss."  There's also a giveaway.  Three of my ebooks will be given to three lucky winners.  Too cool!  Check it out:

That's it for now, sweeties.  I'll let you know when "Truly Naughty" goes live in the Kindle Store and in pdf on my book site.

In the meantime, this SexWitch plans to groove on life, simplify, do some traveling, and jump my yummy Fey mate in the spirit realms every freakin night...

Let the FUN begin!!!

The SexWitch is in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

It's true.  This SexWitch is in LOVE!!!!

In fact, it's so obvious even my local friends can tell.  When Chris picked up my computer on Saturday (more about that later), he said he hasn't seen me this happy in years.

And when Flori saw me later that day, she shocked me by stopping in the middle of our conversation, throwing up her hands, and saying not only was I absolutely radiant but I looked even younger than I usually do.

Wow, gotta love her, ya know? ~lol~

Anyway, I give all the credit to my sweet, sexy Fey mate. We're crazy in love, and the SexWitch is glowing with happiness these days. Yes, I am!!

Okay, back to Chris.  On Friday night my beloved Acer laptop suddenly started sounding like a lawnmower.  Eeeek!

As you know, I didn't write a blog post last week cause I wanted to finish the rewrite of the first draft of the new vamp novella.  That went faster than I thought, and I finished all 17 chapters in 3 days.  Woot!

Then I took 4 nights off from my running to clean my house.  It looks sooooo GOOD now!  But while I was dusting my office my computer started doing the lawnmower thing. ROARRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Hey, all I did was pick it up, dust under it, and gently set it back down.

I can't say I was too surprised at its protest.  When Chris worked on it in August I had asked him about the tiny vibrating noise it was making.  He said it was the fan.  Naturally, when it started roaring at me I thought I needed a fan replacement, and so did he.

Chris picked up my computer on Saturday afternoon and brought it back on Monday.  Turns out it didn't need a new fan after all.  It just needed to be cleaned out (a good dusting) and a few loose screws tightened.  Now it purrs just like a laptop should.

Alrightyyyy!

In the meantime, I could do 90% of my computer stuff on my iphone.  And as I was lying in bed working on my iphone I came to a decision.

All of you know how I've been trying to find a way to slow down the hectic, hamster-wheel pace of my life.  Well, I figured out another tweak I can make in my work schedule that will help that dream become a reality.

A few days before my computer went wonky Nyx and her brilliant techy hubby (Master Einstin) switched the software for our Pagan social site.  Nyx also changed the name and url from Pagan-Playground to Pagan-Place.

I gotta say the site totally rocks now.  The new look is GORGEOUS!!!

And the change in this site led me to my decision.  Since no one has been able to clone me, and since I've had so much trouble at Facebook this year, and since Google+ got crazy weird for me after membership was opened to the public in September, I've decided to limit my presence on the web to Twitter and Pagan-Place

Just those two sites.  Seriously.

Yeah, I'll still have the fan page at FB and the page at G+.  But I'm not hanging out there.  Now I will be at Twitter and Pagan-Place, and that's it.

The brilliance of this decision is that it gives me more time to write every day.  And it makes it possible for me to have a personal life again.  Wow, it's been over 2 years since I had one of those.  I can barely remember what that's like.

Pitiful, I know.

Okay, let me tell you a little about Pagan-Place.  It's for Pagans.  But it's also for people of all faiths who are friends of Pagans (Pagan-friendly).  Yes, we have some open-minded Christians.  It's also for anyone who is a "seeker" and curious to learn more about the Pagan path.

Nyx and I have always made sure the flamers, ego-maniacs, troublemakers, and nasty people stay out.  So what you have at PP is a bunch of really nice members who are Pagans or Pagan-friendly.

Here's the link to my page at Pagan-Place.  Check it out:

If you like what you see, come join me at PP.  We have blogs, forums, groups, chats, etc.  It's the coolest place.  Kinda like a Pagan-friendly version of FB and MySpace

How about that?  I'm actually doing it.

Slowly but surely I'm creating a better life for myself out of the disasters of the last 3 years.  Yay!

My love life has gone from depressing to an absolute miracle.  My Fey mate has been chasing me for 7 months, and I'm so blessed he didn't give up til he finally caught me. ~swoon~

My career has been awesome since I fixed the ex-agent mess of 2009-2010.

But I'm still working too damn hard and waaaaaay too much.  My goal is to create a more humane work schedule for myself that will give me time every day to talk with my fans, write my novels, AND have a personal life.  Cutting my social networking back to Twitter and Pagan-Place is definitely a wise step in that direction.

See?  Miracles do happen.  And the SexWitch is living proof.  Again.

Stay tuned!!  ~witchy wink~
